Description
Robotic arms are increasingly used in industry for manufacturing and automation. In this workshop you will learn to control the movements of a robot arm. You will:
- Understand how motors are used to move the different joints
- Write code to move the motors
- Add buttons and write code to move the motors in response to the buttons
- Carry out tasks such as serving food, stacking bricks or playing Jenga using the arm
- Explore and program a more advanced robot and understand the mechanisms that bring the increased capability with this robot
The workshop is based around the BBC Microbit and uses block-based coding to make it accessible to beginners and more experienced programmers.
